Corregidor

brings you back in time...

Even as thousands of our soldiers in Bataan have conceded to the Japanese Army given the orders from headquarters, the guns of Corregidor continue to pound the Japanese invaders. Communications in the island was cut and the defenders were on their own. As the Japanese continue to bomb the island fort, the Filipino and American soldiers remaining in Corregidor had one thing in mind..."Fight to the death!".

IPMS Manila brings you a glimpse of this historic island-fort that was used primarily to defend the doors to Manila and derailed the Japanese invasion for months during World War II.
